Blue Square was a wholly owned subsidiary of the Intercapital Group Ltd (ICAP) until January 2003 when it was acquired by Rank, one of the UK's leading leisure and entertainment companies. Rank's assets include casinos, bingo clubs and on-line gaming. Blue Square was integrated with Rank Interactive Gaming to create a major force in on-line gaming with a combined customer base of over 750,000 customers.
